This centre provides a controlled and sterile environment for immunization. It ensures that children receive the necessary
vaccines according to the immunization schedule (IAP) recommended by health authorities. Moreover, this centre help combat misinformation and encourage parents to make informed decisions about their child’s health.
Common Vaccines Administered
Little Star Children’s Hospital & Vaccination centre provides vaccines according to the immunization schedule (IAP), which generally includes:
- Birth: BCG, OPV & Hepatitis B vaccine
- 1.5, 2.5 & 3.5 months: DTaP (Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis), Polio, Hib (Haemophilus influenzae type B), Hepatitis B, Rotavirus, and Pneumococcal vaccines
- 6 to 8 months: Flu (Influenza) Dose 1 & 2 & Typhoid 1st Dose
- 9 months: MMR -1st Dose & Meningococcal (1st dose)
- 12 to 13 months: Hepatitis A, Meningococcal (2nd dose) & JE (Japanese Encephalitis 1s & 2nd Dose)
- 15 months: MMR-2nd Dose (Measles, Mumps, Rubella), Varicella (1ST Dose)
- 18 months to 2 years: Booster doses of previous vaccines
- 4-6 years: DTaP, Polio, MMR-3rd Dose
- Adolescence: HPV (Human Papillomavirus), and Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis) vaccines
Important Note:
Ever year Flu shot is to be given preferably in pre monsoon season till 7-8 years of all kids!!!
HPV Vaccine (Cervical Cancer Vaccine) for all women 9 to 45 years!!!
